Sun-bathing in the summer heat can be a bit much, life threatening and dangerous, especially when your considering a heat index of 110 degrees. It was just an ordinary post-4th of July when I was scrolling on my newsfeed to see the coolest and cutest act of kindness between a little froggie and a person in their garden posted in a video by Awwe Animals.

The most interesting thing was the decision making process you can see the little frog undergo before quickly making up his mind how to indulge. The person gestured a small cap of water for the reptile to drink thinking that the little guy must have been thirsty with such a severe heat index. Instead of drinking the water the cute little frog decided to take a full on dip in the water filled cap and soaked his little heart up in a nice cool aquatic act of love.

Things begin to get very interesting when animals can almost resorted to the same choices a full grown human would make, proving that we are all one.

People left supportive and praising comments about the act of kindness, one user wrote “That was so sweet, it wasn't even afraid. It must have felt great to the tiny little thing,” while another user said “Wonderful and kind thing to do. Good things come to those who show kindness and caring for all living things.” Another person wrote “ I can watch this over and over again! So cute! Reptiles and amphibians soak up a good portion of their fluids through their skin, this guy was probably so thankful!”

No matter how small you think the act of love/ kindness is, it’s vital to spread on a daily basis for you and others.
