Rihanna Gets $25M For Amazon to Exclusively Drop Her Documentary Directed by Peter Berg
A Rihanna Documentary is Slated to Drop Through Amazon.
Amazon Prime has paid $25 million to tie down the rights to a narrative about Rihanna, as per The Hollywood Reporter. The movie has apparently been underway for quite a long while, and is helmed by Peter Berg, who coordinated Rihanna in the 2012 film Battleship.
"With unparalleled access into the singer’s life and more than 1,200 hours of footage," The Hollywood Reporter expresses, "the doc offers private insights into Rihanna’s personality, sense of humor, work ethic, family and love." No discharge date for the film has been declared.
The $25 million figure is a similar sum paid a week ago by Apple for a narrative about pop star Billie Eilish to air on its spilling administration Apple TV+.
