Pop Smoke Died At 20 in an Armed Robbery Home Invasion Hours After Posting Photo With Stacks of Cash in Driveway

Rising rapper Pop Smoke was supposedly shot to death early Wednesday after numerous individuals broke into a Hollywood Hills, Calif., home. The Brooklyn-Native hip-hop musician, whose genuine name was Bashar Barakah Jackson, was 20.

Los Angeles police have not affirmed the unfortunate casualty's character, however numerous outlets, including TMZ, report Pop Smoke was the person who was murdered in the break-in. Police confirmed to news source Daily News that a 20-year-old African American male was lethally shot after an obscure number of veiled men went into a house in Hollywood Hills at around 4:29 a.m.

At a question and answer session Wednesday, Capt. Steve Lurie of the LAPD said the 911 announcing the break-in originated from "back East."

The unfortunate casualty was articulated dead at a nearby clinic after the shooting, police said. Suspects have not been recognized, nor has an intention.
