[LISTEN] Rihanna Demo Surfaces the Web of her Singing Selena Gomez "Same Old Love"
An Infectious Rihanna Demo Has Surfaced of Selena’s Popular “Same Old Love” Song
Selena Gomez's notorious 2015 song "Same Old Love" was nearly Rihanna's—and sound discharged today features what the tune would've seemed as though had RiRi taken it for her collection. The demo surfaced on YouTube this evening and PopCrave highlighted the audio on its site. You can hear it out beneath—for the time being, in any case.
Here's Gomez's authentic variant, for reference.
"Same Old Love" was composed by Mikkel Storleer Eriksen, Benny Blanco, Ross Golan, Charli XCX, and Tor Erik Hermansen. Charli XCX expounded on Rihanna's history with the track and how it wound up on Gomez's collection on Tumblr in 2016.
"[I] wrote the song with StarGate and Benny Blanco and Ross Golan at the beginning of 2015,"Charli XCX composed, via Genius. "I think at one point Rihanna was going to sing it or something, yet then I think the bearing of her record changed and it wasn't directly for her any longer (anti is one of my fav collections of the year btw kill).
At that point I think Selena heard it and was into it, and she sang it, and it simply fit her voice and her story so well. The melody felt so passionate and genuine originating from her. I was extremely glad she cut it; it felt exceptionally ground-breaking."
"Same Old Love" from Gomez's album Revival, turned into a track numerous fans related with her on-off sentiment with Justin Bieber.
When Revival came out, Gomez and Bieber were off. They would date again toward the finish of 2017 until spring 2018. Months after the fact, Bieber began dating Hailey Baldwin once more. The couple got occupied with July 2018 and wedded in September 2018.
