Beyonce's Mom Tina Knowles Lawson Tells About Blue Ivy's 'The Gift' Partnership

Tina Knowles is one beaming, “unbiased” proud grandmother for the incredible soundtrack her granddaughter Blue Ivy collaborated on.

“I was very excited because when she was a kid we must have seen that 20 to 25 times.” According to ET during an event called the HollyRod Foundation’s annual gala.

"Oh my god. That album is incredible,"  she spouted to ET at The HollyRod Foundation's 21st Annual DesignCare Gala regarding Eva Longoria on Saturday at Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu, California. "I can’t get enough of it and, of course, I'm not biased but that was wonderful and for Blue to be a part of it, it's amazing."

As fans know, the 7-year-old little girl of Beyonce and JAY-Z is highlighted on the track "Brown Skin Girl" nearby her celebrated mother, rapper and maker SAINt JHN and Nigerian artist WizKid. Blue even gotten her first-regularly composing credit for the melody.

The Knowles matriarch dishes on the CGI, live-action version of the Disney classic that daughter Beyonce will be starring in as the voice of Nala. While close by, Knowles-Lawson additionally talked about Beyonce's very own association with the first, energized Lion King, which came out in 1994. "So, I'm just so excited for her daughter to be able to see this, her kids and it's very exciting. It's a beautiful movie. Really beautiful."

The Lion King: The Gift, isn't the new photograph genuine film's soundtrack, yet rather a complimentary collection made and curated by Beyonce herself. The single, "Spirit," is on both The Gift and the soundtrack.

"A lot of the drums, the chants, all of these incredible new sounds, mixed with some of the producers from America, we’ve kinda created our genre," she proceeded. "And I feel like the soundtrack, it becomes visual in your mind, it’s a soundscape, it’s more than just the music, because each song tells the story of the film."
