Nicki Minaj takes a very asserted disposition in the Supremacy of the Rap world in her new “Hard White” Video. The reflective and introspective song is installed on 2018’s Queen and is the 2nd music video from the album since “Barbie Dreams” which set off a lot of press about the various rappers she jokes around with in the song, Notorious B.I.G. style.

This music video is one of the more visually inspiring videos Nicki Minaj has released from an album that definitely will leave you repeatedly pressing the play button. It’s a bit refreshing to see Nicki Minaj affirming her Kingdom taking a rightfully so seat at the throne, in the utmost uber styled crown bejeweled for the gods. The ghoulish apparitions that gave scary movie vibes creepily danced around her and also seemed to perform dark ritualistic practices on the floor. The scenery, ever so changing throughout the video, ranged between hallucinogenic desert landscapes with multiple editions of Nicki Minaj, to ravens alerting times of the foreboding. The visual is noticeably a darker turn for the Queen, yet one of her top tier qualitative outputs which connects with the assurance she has as she raps “Getting to it their way, I ain’t coming through unless the bag straight (I use to, work hard just to get half back)”.
