Yonasda's mom was an Oglala Lakota social extremist, youth advisor and inspirational orator who likewise was a piece of the American Indian Movement (AIM). She worked with Muhammad Ali, the Nation of Islam just as with the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan to bring nearer relations between Black American and Native American Indian people group. Her dad was the fine craftsman Theadius McCall, a Black American from Brooklyn, NY.

Her granddad is the widely acclaimed Minister Louis Farrakhan. As a little youngster Yonasda remained by her mom's and granddad's side addressing the hip jump country. She frequently recollects when her granddad said that one rapper's melody is identical to five of his discourses. Yonasda feels unequivocally about her obligation to utilize her music as a mouth piece to teach and elevate youngsters.
