Gabirelle Union Highlights Industry 'Colorism' in the Television Industry After Loosing Role to Bianca Lawson in New Interview on 'Build'

Gabrielle Union is an exceptional African American actress and the world knows that. Yet, she missed out on an acting job, since system executives believed that she wasn't really enough.

As per Gabby, the executives revealed to her that light cleaned entertainer Bianca Lawson was "prettier" thus they gave her the job.

Gabrielle made the frightening case today - during a meeting with AOL's Build.

Gabby clarified, "I was testing for a pilot on the UPN network which no longer exists." "It was between me and Bianca Lawson, from Queen Sugar fame," the perfect entertainer proceeded.

The executive revealed to Gabrielle's supervisor that Bianca got the job on the grounds that, "Bianca's just prettier."
