This year, the BET Awards' most esteemed respect, its Humanitarian Award, went to Beyonce, who's been working indefatigably during the pandemic to help hard-hit Black people group through her BeyGOOD activity, while making time to stand up against police mercilessness and fundamental prejudice in America. After the previous First Lady praised Beyonce for “always turning up, looking out, and making us all a little bigger, better, a little more fierce," Bey utilized her acknowledgment discourse to ask audience members to "continue to dismantle a racist and unequal system"- and to remind them the most make way towards doing that is to cast a ballot. "I want to dedicate this award to all of my brothers out there, all of my sisters out there inspiring me, marching and fighting for change," Beyonce said by means of video, while weighing in on the honor.


"Your voices are being heard and you're proving to our ancestors that their struggles were not in vain. Now we have one more thing we need to do to walk in our true power, and that is to vote. ... I'm encouraging you to continue to take action. Continue to change and dismantle a racist and unequal system. We have to continue to do this together," she said.


"Continue to fight for each other and lift each other up, because there are people banking on us staying at home during the local elections and primaries happening in states across the country. We have to vote like our life depends on it, because it does."


Since April, Beyonce and her BeyGOOD activity have set up free testing destinations in Houston and collaborated with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey's Start Small to pipe $6 million in help to associations giving psychological well-being, general wellbeing and food bank administrations to underserved neighborhoods in four urban communities.


Bey has likewise taken a stand in opposition to prejudice and police severity, both on the web and through music, with continues from her new shock track "Black Parade" profiting little, Black organizations.
