Whoopi Goldberg Recovering from Illness Returns to 'The View' "This is my Beginning" after Battling Pneumonia
Whoopi Goldberg made her arrival to The View on Thursday following her fight with pneumonia.
She last showed up on Feb. 6, however the show on March 8 shared a prerecorded clasp of Goldberg uncovering she had nearly kicked the bucket from the sickness. Learning the illness had been nearly fatal for the Oscar Award winning, Hollywood influencing Whoopi Goldberg is heartbreaking to say the least. "This is my first foray out. … I'm not there yet, but the only way it's going to get better is if I begin, so this is my beginning," she said. "I still have a cough, and that's the last thing to go apparently, but over the next week and a half, I'll start to be here more often."
Goldberg amazed co-star Joy Behar, Abby Huntsman, Meghan McCain, Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro while Behar told the crowd that she trusted Goldberg would come back to the show soon. The hosts left the table and grasped Goldberg in a gathering embrace after she showed up from behind the stage.
Whoopi Goldberg definitely stresses the fact that we must take good care of our health, “there’s death, and here’s me” implying on how close she was to death. Thankfully the fluids where pumped out of her and she is recovering in her battle as Megan McCain happily screamed, we never want her to leave us again.
